crapload of bighorn sheep at bridge to nowhere - 8/18

saw two herds at the bridge yesterday. one herd of at least 7 sheep were on top of the cliff opposite the trail into the bridge. on the trail side of the bridge's cliff, there were 5 sheep (see pic). pretty awesome to see. i'd never seen a bighorn before and here, on my last san gabes hike before moving, they came out in...herds.
i was also surprised by how much of the trail has been washed away. nonetheless, it was as easy and fun a hike as usual.
i posted a tr here with some pics if you're interested.

Nice! They were just paying their respects.
Good luck on your move.

There have been a lot of sheep sightings lately. I guess the mountain lions haven't eaten all of them.

Hey Matt, congrats on the upcoming move! Good job on seeing the bighorn, too.
Gentle reminder: We shouldn't identify the locations of endangered animals such as bighorn. You never know what knuckleheads are looking in here and think the poaching laws don't apply to them. Thanks.

Funniest post title ever...
Maybe the bighorn were waiting to use the bridge to go somewhere...
