4th of July Closures

Chantry Flat road will be closed at 6:00 pm Friday - Monday, July 1st - 4th. That probably means the same goes for Millard Canyon/Sunset Ridge road. Monrovia Canyon Park often shuts down altogether, but dunno bout this year.

Good reminder! We were at Millard Canyon two years ago on the 4th waiting for some friends to come down and they (as well as lots and lots of other people) got stuck behind the gate. Fortunately they closed it at 6 but didn't lock it for another hour or two so we played gate guard and let everyone out.
There is, in fact, a sign, but I guess people don't read it?

Glendora Ridge Road was gated shut yesterday at Mt. Baldy Village.

GMR has been closed as well.
