Fire Road to Sunset Peak

I found another nice run - the Fire Road to Sunset Peak. It's close to 8 miles round-trip and my track from the GPS said 1900 feet gain, but it's only 1400 feet gain if you subtract the starting elevation from the summit elevation and I don't recall very many downhill sections on the way up.
Anyway, a nice easy run - not flat but not steep either.
Some pics I took:

Kathy, there was a fire lookout on top of Sunset Peak that was installed in 1927. Not sure when it was taken down.

Sounds like a real nice running route. Nice pictures. Where is the trailhead?

Augie:
The road to Sunset Peak is Forest Service Road 2N07. You take Glendora Ridge Road (a paved road) that starts just before Mt. Baldy Village for about 4 miles to Road 2N07. There's a good size parking area along the road where 2N07 starts. You can't see 2N07 real well as you're driving along Glendora Ridge Road from Baldy Village, so if you've gone 4.5 miles then you have gone past it. When you turn around and go back the road will be obvious.
