Saw it after driving down from GMR. Looked up off of Sierra Madre Rd and BAM! A plane.

"The site is inaccessible," Stabb said. "It's wedged pretty good into the hillside's brush."
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

The Lt. says the site is inaccessible. No, it is very accessible. Anyone can see the plane on the hillside from Bonelli Park to San Dimas. He is correct that the plane is wedged into the brush.
The issue now: who is going to remove the plane. Evidently, it is the plane's owner or the owner's insurance company problem. This plane is going to become an attractive nuisance. Any low-life with a hint of conditioning (to walk up the Garcia Trail) will vandalize the plane.
It is pretty cool, though, to see a plane parked on a hillside above one's house.

A helo will fly out the wreck soon...
Either the FAA / NTSB or in conjunction with the owners insurance company.
Not only are there lots of valuable avionics onboard, the FAA / NTSB wants to inspect the wreck and conduct tests to see why the crash happened

Hey Matt,
The plane was dismantled yesterday and flown out piece by piece. Bummer!
