How long would it take to ride from Sunset Peak to the bottom of of GMR in Glendora? I know it is pretty much all downhill, and that is the idea on this one (lazy, I know). Also, any easy peaks to bag on the way down? Glendora Mountain maybe?

It's a tiny bit uphill until you're above/west of the gate to the San Dimas Experimental Forest.
12 miles on GRR, 8.36 on the south section of GMR. South side of GMR is mostly downhill.
Dunno if you've seen all this:

And for your route:

You'd be starting on the right side of the map in Baldy Village, marked as "Mount Baldy" on the map.
Cheers

You can also look on bikeforums.net. Look under the regional discussions forum for Southern California. The GMR/GRR is very popular, should be plenty of info for ya. And the GMR/GRR is going to be used as the 'epic' hillclimb in this year's Tour of California (May 2011). They'll be going all the way from Claremont to the Mt. Baldy skilift.
