EISPIRATEN

Took a chance that the road was open and headed up to Manker Flats. Lots of construction equipment moving earth but no problem parking. The Ranger driving by just mentioned to be careful. Went up to the Ski hut and then the summit from the bowl. Little rime ice falling off the rocks into the bowl but not to much. Kind of blustery on the summit. A great day to be in the mountains. Ran into Dave G and Norma at the ski hut on the way down Photo's are here

Nice pictures, any idea what the CHP helicopter was up to?

I think they were just practicing touch and goes.
