EISPIRATEN

Heard there was going to be some wind last night and today, so with a day off today I went to Baldy, started at 12:15am summited at 3:20am. Windy from the get go the strongest winds were along the West Ridge after you come out of the trees..Summit was windy but not bad 17deg.at 3:25. Took the ski hut trail up and back..Fun time!

I still want the wind that Giga Mike had where he was on his hands and knees and the wind took his breath away where he couldn't breathe..
Now thats weather!

Shin:funny- I read your commment on Dave Gs post about my dayhikes, I laughed at it when I read it and here I went last night again, my next hike will be a dayhike next Friday the 19th for the group hike..

i really enjoy hiking Baldy at night, especially in the snow on a full moon. i think i have done it at least 4 times now. but shhh... don't tell anyone how fun it is. our little secret!
