Thoughts on Go Pro Camera?

I believe several folks on this forum have used the Go Pro Cam.
What has been your experience? Are you able to capture the images you want because of the wide angle lens? Is editing a time consuming nightmare? Is the quality sufficient to make a large print, or is it more of a video device?
