Despite having to take a DNF, Norma R and I had a most excellent early season snow climb on Tyndall. TR and pix are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21042415@N ... 198757380/

Looks like a memorable day, Dave and Norma. Great photo set. Congratulations on getting to see that high altitude hare.

It was a long week. Took me forever to post my pix, but post i did.

Thank you Dave G for a very FUN day in the Sierra. Though we didn't stand above 14k we had a great day and enjoyed the beauty before us. Plus we donned our 'pons for our first snow hike of the season. Snow = :D

:) thanks Tracie! it is always hard to turn-around even when you know that statement is true. the questions arise... if i would have started earlier, if i would have taken less photos, if only i was as fast as lik2hik, if, if if?...

i truly would like to do a May 4-day snow camp and tag both mtns when the snow makes the going more direct. though carrying a full winter pack over S-Pass is a daunting thought. time to start weight training!
