Very nice! The pictures are great. And funny - every 5th or 6th photo is of the triplets, as you get closer....closer...closer...I can imagine the alternating feelings of "yeah! Getting closer!" and "crap, that's so far away!"

Ze,
Another excellent adventure. Well done.
Now that you know the way I assume you will return to try for a sub two hour round trip?

Nice work Ze! How’s it feel to conquer that bad boy? It’s hard to describe to anyone how hard that ridge until you’ve done it. That going back up is just a killer.
No surprise not all of you made it. Almost impossible to get 5 people going at the same pace on that ridge.
You made great time too even with the wrong turns
Sorry I didn’t see your PM. I was out of town. Looks like you did what I was thinking with using Google Earth to find a better route that final part

I don't think I'll ever return!

That's exactly what we said
It took us a year to even think about going back there. So by next October you should be itching to lead your friends back there. We need more signatures

Nice to see it's still there. Wasn't sure if the fire got to it or some animal made off with it. Got a feeling that register if it survives will never get filled up.

I see from the comments on your blog that a certain SGMD ex-patriate still haunts you. Amazing how he hasn't changed one bit. Amazing, comical, and annoying all at once.
Congrats on the incredible accomplishment.

Remarkable journey! You almost make it look too easy, though looking at your pictures, the challenge is immediately apparent.
Looks like an Internet troll followed you home from under those rocks...

Gnarly hike Zé and great TR in describing it. You do make it sound like the definitive and nearly impervious crown jewel of the San Gab's. Good job!!
Just like your Snow Creek TR your words don't dissuade but persuade me to want to give it a try. The photo of the lizard is a good idea of what could happen if you're truly not ready for a hike of this magnitude.
So what do you think Dave G, Phil, Buehler, anyone?...

That really does put it into perspective. Bigger than I had thought.
You should draw your route on that pic.
That rock is about 10 Ze's high - at least 40 feet!!!
