This maybe of interest to those on the board...
It is along the Kern River north of Kernville
Human caused is the official cause

Yes, the Bull Run fire was reported at 1 something in the morning in the Bull Run Creek area. The creek has fun granite slides and deep pools. Hopefully, the ash will wash through this winter. What a shame.
It's also a shame for all of the businesses in Kernville, especially the rafting groups.
