Anyone done this one yet? I don't know how access is, since it's just south of San Gabriel Dam.

It's big as hell, though.

That looks like it is right below Morris Reservoir.
I took these photos on April 28th, 2005. They were still flowing pretty good!

and here is another one a bit further up....

and just for kicks if you drive past the dam and past this huge boulder (on the right in a turn out)

Look for this landmark to the west (your left as you're driving up 39 (not E Fork Rd)

and in that vicinity is this awesome looking 3 tiered waterfall...

with some interesting wildlife...

To get to this waterfall (the one below Morris Reservoir) I think you'd have to access it via Garcia Trail to Azusa Peak that starts next to the Fire Station on Sierra Madre Ave... or maybe even the Glendora Ridge Mtnwy. Anyone want to do it? I'd be down...

I've reconned the two dropins, they're both off GMR. Real easy access. Dunno about the legal side of things, though.

Don't mess with the dams or Homeland Security will have you in a FEMA camp as a potential terrorist. I'm only half kidding. I have a friend that's an LA County dam keeper and he has told me stories - don't mess with the dams!

Dangit! It looks like it would be fun, maybe at night with a full moon we could do it... Without headlamps. :)
