Sierra Madre to Jones Peak

Took my first hike today since I broke my toe. The trail was nice and clear all the way, but mostly switchbacks, and little to no shade. That, coupled with my broken little pinky toe, and the fact that I forgot my water made for a slightly unpleasant hike. It was still worth it though, just felt good to get some dirt under-shoe after a week of restraining myself
After the first switchback or two
Some sort of resort. Just thought it was a nice picture is all...
Tiny crick in Bailey canyon
Tree on the west bank of the stream
Tiny cabin remains above the creek- I've yet to find out anything about this cabin, but there are lots of shiny yellow flakes in the sand. Old prospector's cabin maybe?
Mt. Wilson from Jones peak
Los Angeles basin from Jones peak
A lizard
Another lizard
My little toe, the one I've been bitching about, about an hour ago. - Yes, I made the shoe
