Ski Hut

A friend had not been out on the trail since Oct of 2008, so we ran up to the Ski Hut this morning.
Wind was a howling from the minute we got out of the car - it had been blowing so hard that it "tipped" over four of the "Porta Potties", three over at the Manker Campgrounds and one of the two that sit by the gate - Glad I wasn't in it when that happened
Skies were that clear blue that we all hope for on a winter day. Up, down and home by 10:30 AM nice little morning out on the flanks of Baldy.
Glad to hear that the climber is doing ok from the night before, thanks to all of you that rendered a hand
