anyone ever climb up Ontario from the south / southwest ridge? or know anyone who has?

You should do this after your Palms-to-Pines double on Saturday. You'll certainly be warmed up!

Sorta tried. There's a cool false peak out there that has the same profile as Ross, like a tilted table.
Low brush. Kinda boring.

some dude mentions it in his hiking book (which I don't have) so its definitely possible.
Baden Powell from Iron Fork on the other hand....
