Seems to me they'll fight to keep the fire out of Wrightwood
This is very bad... very very bad
Hope the fuel treatment that was done, was enough

Cautious optimism is the word of the day for now
No active burning detected, I hope they've learned their lesson and are all over this as I am typing
some news reports I've heard is they worked through the night

An official perimeter was released and no new fire detections have been made in the last 24 hours
On the southern end the perimeter shows there was no fire detections...Probably due to the fast moving nature of this blaze. The satellites didn't have time to detect it before it had come and gone
From the reports I've heard the southern end of the ridge and PCT burned

Thanks for the map!
I know they make these, but no one ever gets to see them
For anyone who is interested there was no new detections overnight and all the previous detections have faded to black.
This is another area that will require careful monitoring until we get rain
Please rain come! but be gentle...Our mountains have really taken it on the chin and in the gut!

It looks like we and the forest dodged a bullet.

Always interested. Your maps kept me somewhat sane during the peak of the station fire. Not that they were all great news or anything, but just having information helps.
In short, you're the MAN.
