Flower identification assistance requested

Can anyone tell me what these are?

This was blooming in the sort of heather that lines the trail to the Ski Hut.





And what is this?

It is a Wallflower, what precise variety I couldn't say They 're generically known as Wallflower

The first two appear to me to be Ceanothus Cuneatus, or Buck Brush.

it's Ceanothus of one sort or another....

Collectively known as Buckthorn or California Lilac

It's pretty when in bloom other wise despised by XC hikers for it's tendency to shred you, & your gear

Great stuff if you run low on razor wire :twisted:
