Mt. Baldy Loop 5.25

Well, after being a long time lurker, I finally have something I can post on this forum!
Back before middle age caught me in it's grasp, I used to ply the lower range quite often. But, middle age and middle body growth had me pretty much confined to remote control clicking for excercise up until a couple years ago. Long story short, I've become active again - running up to 45 miles a week these days, and am finally in shape again to be out in nature.
Monday, a friend of mine and I did the Baldy Loop - up the Ski Hut Trail and back down Devils Backbone. What a beautiful day to be out! We were kind of like the little train that could - slow and steady - three hours up, two hours down. Not breaking any records, but really enjoying and taking in the beautiful weather and beautiful sights along the way.
I have a detailed trip report on my blog http://therunningfatguy.blogspot.com/20 ... -hill.html, and photos on my Flickr site:http://www.flickr.com/photos/glennsphot ... 802101812/
Thanks for having this forum and thanks for letting me post!
