I found this today hiking near the helipad by Henninger It was on the ground so we picked it up.

Triangle Sign at the PCT just south of Lake Hughes Road in the Santa Clara region of the ANF

At the far western end of Josephine Peak's ridge. Broken off at the base, resurrected and used as a temporary flag pole.
Does anyone actually know what these are for? No current or historical record of a trail to this location exists that I know of, and there are no benchmarks. Mysterious. Ancient aliens?

They are very rusted, so nothing discernible now, but may have featured such information originally?

Found this one between Bare Mtn and Peak 6,189

This one was on the subsidiary ridge that you can hike up to get on the main ridge where Bare is located.

Firebreaks.... where would this forum be without 'em.
