My down 32F sleeping bag weighs less than 1.25 pounds. A Kifaru woobie weighs 1.5 pounds, so you're not saving any weight, and you're certainly not saving any bulk. On the other hand, the Kifaru woobie is about half what I paid for my down bag. You might be able to get a USGI woobie for less, but then you're up to 1.75 pounds -- for a poncho liner. They're OK, but they're not all that warm, certainly not as warm as a sleeping bag.
I guess if you really hate sleeping bags ...
