Are you guys still planning on the Baldy / Iron / Baden-Powell Deathmarch?
I'm still interested in doing it, I've had a knee injury for the better part of last 90 days so I'm just getting back to my normal hiking. This weekend I'm doing Ortega Highway to 91 freeway over the Santa Ana's. After that I'm going to do one half of the "Death March" to see what times I can get down.

Then I'm off to New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Michigan for multiple stage vacation in early June.

It's my opinion that we need to set it up for the Fall as it's getting late (to hot to do it) for this spring.

If anyone wants to try before then I'm still willing to give it my best shot.

I have been thinking about doing a similar hike. Starting near Los Pinos Peak on Main Divide Road and hitting Los Pinos, Trabuco, Santiago, Modjeska, Bald, Bedford, Pleasants and Sierra. I figure its about 30 miles if I follow the road. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source= ... 9&t=p&z=12

Are planning on climbing the peaks, or just following main divide????
