hint for picture #2: when hikers talk about the named peak on the right, they almost certainly arent talking about this one...I mean if you tell them the highpoint on this pictured mtn is well below 10,000 ft, muchless above 14,000ft,they are puzzled.

You are somewhere on the west side of Condor, in Trail Canyon, Looking at Mt. Whitney to the west, Lukens to the south and perhaps Iron Mt. #2 or 3 (i forget) to the north.

all no's, but I guess Elwood is the closest so far. The picture is zoomed in a bit but take a look at the ridges to get a better guess.
