Wednesday, a fire started northwest'ish of the 210, 15 intersection.

Thursday, a fire started north of Upland in the lower reaches of Cucamonga Canyon (I can't find the link to where I read this). I saw the smoke plume from this fire as I was exiting San Antonio Cyn to get onto the 210 freeway at about 2:00p. If the press considers this "at the base of Mt. Baldy", then...sigh...never mind.
