Re-organising the board and all that stuff. Shoot your suggestions.
Notice I removed subforums... I'm willing to compile more topics into General Discussion or Off TOpic, yadda yadda.

Luks purty gud. What happen'd to da urban hikin' sextion??? Did we lose content? Kinda like bein' able to refer to it even though it doesn't get a lot of posts (unless there's a fire closure!).
Howz about we roll up Current Conditions and Flora and Fauna into General Discussion. Dem two don' get alotta posts, yes?
Plans and Partners could also be rolled up into General Discussion, but I could go either way on that.

I like Plans and Partners though.... I could see that and Trip Reports being stuck together, but eh....
First suggestion is a go.

I believe I put that in GD. I'm sifting through stuff and I'll move TR's into the TR section, etc.

While you're moving things, how about moving Iron Mt. a little lower?

Hey, you need a custom title under your username! WTF? YOU DON'T HAVE ONE YET!
I disagree with this idea. Because there has not been entries in them is no reason to group them together. I like looking at them as options for different topics. I thought it was unique to this board.Hikin_Jim wrote:Luks purty gud. What happen'd to da urban hikin' sextion??? Did we lose content? Fight On, we felt it wasn't necessary.
Honestly though, current conditions can be a single thread, not a whole subforum. Ain't a lot to change as far as conditions go, until winter, when things change by the day.
HikeUp... I'll give you something.

I think we should have a topic for HikeUps name.TacoDelRio wrote:Fight On, we felt it wasn't necessary.

mmm...beer.
Forum looks great. Good stuff. Might be a TR or 2 in Off Topic that could be moved though. All in good time.

I like the new layout too. Some TRs are in off topic because we use to put non-SGM TRs there. I'm with Mike P on the flora and fauna subforum, but either way is fine. Did the GPS posts get moved to gear? There were a couple of good GPS stickies that Travis had there but I don't see them anymore.

Hmm. Yeah, I'm with Tim; the GPS and Videos category was actually helpful.
As far as TR's are concerned, I think TR's should go in the TR section even if they're not San Gabs TR's.

Arright, on the way.
Gonna rebuild the "Animo's and sheeyih" forum.... just kidding... gonna put it up again, though.

Thanks, Taco!!! Very nice reorganization.
In time you may find a tweak is needed here and there.

I'm open to suggestions.
Personally, I prefer simplicity, and less scrolling to see if something new has happened. 8)
