Google says this is a blue elderberry. I don't know. There are a bunch of them along the Clamshell Trail.

Yezzir! You can even see berries in the first pic. When they turn ripe, eat a few handfuls and wait a few hours. If you get sick, you'll be sensitive to the toxin. If not, the plant is free game. You can cook the berries down in a pan and make a sauce that's toxin free or you can dry the flowers and make tea. I've done all of the above
