I feel like JTK is back again renaming peaks with different names and SUPER incorrect elevations. Just saw Sunset Point has been renamed to Brindle Mountain on Google Maps and i'm irritated. Only 2 years ago, viewtopic.php?p=70093&hilit=JTK#p70093 I stole the Philips Point sign off of West Fuji and placed it rightfully in my living room. All the homies have heard the in depth lore behind the sign and who JTK is and all that but I'm gonna get to the bottom of whoever is naming peaks other things out here.... SMH my head.

I noticed that Brindle Mountain name a couple months ago, thinking I had never heard of it..

Google maps is for noobs anyway. Somebody volunteered free labor for a multi-billion dollar corporation, and they didn't do good work. I have trouble being upset by this

I've reached the point that I don't care, many named mountains locally have no business having names and I prefer Peak 5,054 to all the silly names people give them.

Oh? Seeing as I already trust big tech with everything in my life these days, I was planning to drive as fast as I could up that road at night. No headlights even... just worry-free confidence that the most sophisticated technology humanity has ever produced could never steer me wrong.
