The mine has no mentions online other than that site and that journal. Also it was mined for tungsten but is probably only a prospect since there aren't any tailings nor are there remanents of a road.
I noticed that someone proposed that as a spot to search at for the Monica search but I find it extremely unlikely that she'd be there

Yeah that’s how I saw it. When I was up there I noticed a large ledge around that area. I can’t see how anyone would mine there but I know fuck all about mining other than it looks like a monumental amount of effort to bring anything bigger than a bucket and shovel up there.
Tungsten is dope though. Lightbulbs and older armor piercing ammo. Those are both very useful. Well, maybe not the lightbulbs anymore since everything is LED, it when you gotta penetrate…
