Triangle Sign at the PCT just south of Lake Hughes Road in the Santa Clara region of the ANF
Yes, it has been shot, multiple times...

Found this by Mt Bliss buried in the ground. I put it upright with rocks.

At the far western end of Josephine Peak's ridge. Broken off at the base, resurrected and used as a temporary flag pole.
Does anyone actually know what these are for? No current or historical record of a trail to this location exists that I know of, and there are no benchmarks. Mysterious. Ancient aliens?

And this one a little closer to the Josephine summit.

These are blank, and don't have any letters of numbers?

They are very rusted, so nothing discernible now, but may have featured such information originally?

These two are also upside-down as all the others point down.

Can you read this sign, on point 4345 just north of Mendenhall Peak?

Found this one between Bare Mtn and Peak 6,189
This one was on the subsidiary ridge that you can hike up to get on the main ridge where Bare is located.

Typically they mark firebreak locations.

That flag is lit.

This is totally plausible!!
Firebreaks.... where would this forum be without 'em.
