Looks like you traded your poles for a new hiking companion. Maybe they will turn up on this thread.

Believe it or not! I posted that I left my poles in the parking lot on Facebook SoCal hikers and this morning someone replied they found them.
Now I need to figure out how I'm getting them.
Now that's hilarious!

Found this little guy while walking down from Icehouse Saddle.
Lots of discussion on Maverick forums about what to do with the odd little cubby in the dash so now I have something in there.

Up on Mt Gleason:
They seem a little small for me.
They might work as a head warmer.
Although I did try to model them. (Don't know how to get videos to show in here)

They look fine to me.

Is the video unlisted? The problem might also be that it's a YT "short" and not a regular video. Normally you can just drop the YT link in here and it automatically embeds.

Catching up on a couple finds...
Jeff found a hat and a flannel in Little Tujunga.
Now they're part of his wardrobe.
He also found this dog collar near Frenchman's Flat.
Now he's a rock star named "Taps."

I feel pretty fortunate that none of the tree branches broke while I was climbing.

While hiking around Crystal Lake, Jeff found a quarter.
He also found a mouthpiece.
And a bicycle.
They're his now, except for the bike, which we left in case the kid returned for it.

I found another quarter on my Sierra trip, unfortunately it got lost somewhere else along the way. However I did return home with this cool bandanna that I rescued from a small pine tree near one of the Trinity Lakes.

I got the West Fuji Peak registry and the Phillips Point sign! TR coming soon, but someone decided to rename West Fuji to Philips Point and we're not having that.

Oh yeah, got this bad boy fixed permanently today. Drilled out the holes and replaced the bad rived with a screw and nylock nut. And I figured out how to collapse it correctly. This was also in the Big5 daily deals yesterday.

Dude, now you have a rocking camp chair! All I got was the neighbors' abandoned firewood.

Sunglasses found at the little-known "Tujunga Ponds"
The fishing was lousy, but my sunglasses were broken so this was a clutch find.
