I'm running in the PCBR 750, the shorter version of the 1500 I did last year (which I'll do again September 2024). If you'd like to watch my progress, here be a link: https://trackleaders.com/pacificexpress24

It'll be an interesting race for me as I'm using a road bike with a fair bit of go-fast stuff on it, plus a new bivy setup. It's also not gonna rain so I don't have rain gear nor a shelter. I will be applying lessons learned into the 1500.

Cheers

I'd say "Break a leg!" but that hardly seems appropriate in bicycle racing circles. Good luck!!!

Look at the race flow or the run/rest stats. I don't understand how they're doing this.

Looks like he had to abandon at Morro Bay. That sucks, hope he's OK. What a spectacular effort though.

Yup, I decided to bail at Morro Bay and take the train home from SLO. I wasn't really getting anything out of this. Had been thinking on it for a couple days and calmly decided to head home while I was riding down to the coast from Paso Robles. I had a good time riding with everyone and chasing 1st, but I'm not in the spot in things right now to get much out of it. I'm not gonna race in the 1500 in September either. I'm just gonna work on my own projects. Cheers guys.
