Pacifico Mtn via PCT

I led my Wednesday group on a gorgeous hike along the PCT starting at Mill Creek.

It was a beautiful day to celebrate the Summer Solstice and Hiking Naked day.

Anyways, this was my 3rd time here but a first for a few members of my group and they loved it!

I decided to do a loop hike. The forecasted weather was 68 and it was a cool 50-degrees at 8am. Unfortunately, once we descended the peak it felt like 80-degrees.

The trail was overwhelming filled with Flannelbush, Silver lupine and Indian Paintbrush.

We found a few snow plants closer to the summit.

We didn't see anyone on the trail except for a few PCTers and we had the summit all to ourselves.

At the summit, we spent a good hour admiring the views, laughing and taking lots of photos.

We descend via the road. This was where the majority of Silver Lupine existed. It was quite refreshing.

Last time I hiked the road was in 2020 and there was not this much Lupine. It made the boring road come alive.

Anyways, just wanted to share my pics. This is a good time to go.
