Cecelia and I caught some weather while hiking to Jones Peak yesterday. It rained on and off during our midday stroll. We started from Bailey Canyon and exited Little Santa Anita. Some photos...

I went a bit earlier that day. I went up Bastard Ridge and looped back down Little Santa Anita, hit the top at about 10:15 and was drizzling.

I love Bailey when it's "moist" lol.

Where are the gaging station ruins?

Go to First Water and take the little path up the canyon, past some cabin ruins. Don't turn onto the unsigned Lost Canyon trail which goes back up to the Wilson trail. Stay in Little Santa Anita.
