I wonder how much experience they had and which route they took. RIP.

Rock climbers on the rock. The exact details arent published....yes, they died. I always give a hope that the family members find some peace.

Supposedly they were experienced, whatever that means, sad.

There have long been reports of flaky rock on certain routes. Someone fell and died from Vampire a few years ago.

Regardless of prep and skill, bad luck can still happen. A big flake breaks off and it's sayonara.

Do they ever close specific routes due to the flake danger?
