Rock climbers on the rock. The exact details arent published....yes, they died. I always give a hope that the family members find some peace.

There have long been reports of flaky rock on certain routes. Someone fell and died from Vampire a few years ago.
Regardless of prep and skill, bad luck can still happen. A big flake breaks off and it's sayonara.

Do they ever close specific routes due to the flake danger?
