Post your favorite manzanitas here!
I found this one arching across the Idlehour Trail between the toll road and the camp.

I think this is a Manzanita...on the Mt. Wilson Trail (May 2008) after some fire in the Canyon.

Yessir. The Bear Canyon trail. Right above where it drops down into the canyon is a near section of a tunnel through the manzanitas:

The manzanita is a beautiful plant. There are, (Were?), some epic examples along the beginning of the East Fort trail to Iron Mountain/Allision Gulch/Widman Ranch trail.

Pink Manzanita Flowers on the Ontario Peak Trail
Manzanita flowers and apples in Icehouse Canyon
The apples taste a bit like crabapples when ripe. Sour!
