Did this hike yesterday. Did an out-and-back from Icehouse Canyon, grabbing the peaks on the way back.
I decided to take the ridge up to Thunder, which was nice and tough. Then on the way back to Telegraph, I decided to climb the scree up to it's summit.
That was really hard and wiped me out after all the hiking before, so ended up being an exhausting day. My altimeter measured almost 7,000 ft gain, not sure how accurate that is, more like 6,000 ft, right?
This is hike is great, awesome views both east and west. Was a reasonably clear day, could easily see all through the San Gabriels and San Bernadinos

That's funny. I went up ice house yesterday too! But to Cucamonga Peak with Charles. I was gonna go to Ontairo and then do the 3ts and up Baldy and down Bear Flats and back to Ice House but decided stay with Charles. We left early like 5:15. and got back like 12:15. Almost a real clear day for pics.
