Then you must be on the trail from Little Jimmy to Mt. Islip.

Edit -- oops, was on page 3 and didn't see the previous reply till after I posted. If we're correct, HikeUp gets the ribbon.

Can't be. They're facing North-ish, looking at Josephine, Strawberry and Lawlor and such. Probably just above Altadena somewhere? Just past the Meadows?

Disappointment is in the photo but that's not it. And Lowe is not in the picture.

Hints: Dima is close in terms of direction, the view is northeast-ish; and Hikeup is correct that it's in the vicinity of Lukens, let's say less than five miles from the peak as the crow flies.

You got the peaks right, but, no, it's not the Verdugos. It's the Lukens vicinity.

Off Mt. Lukens Rd. where the beekeeper teepee is and the mailbox - La Canada trail - cross town? comes out right there

Yes! Acceptable answers were Crosstown or Teepee Trail. Begins in La Canada and goes up to Mt. Lukens Road at the teepee site. You're up!

I'm not Walker but I am pretty damn sure that is correct. The right clearing across the Arroyo is an old camp site

Sorry I disappeared for a bit - Dima gets this one, a few canyon bends above Oakwilde but closer to Oakwilde than Switzer's - extra credit if you can ID the abandoned picnic area just a few hundred yards upstream from this spot.

You're it!
