Spotted this when driving to Union Wash, just NE of Lone Pine. Cool-looking series of terraced structures, quite prominent despite being pretty far from the road.

Looks like BLM property, couldn't find any claims or historical mines listed at the area - not entirely surprising given the sheer number out there - but thought someone would have posted something given the size of this complex. From far away, it almost looks like cliff dwellings.

Interesting. I know there's a lot of mines out there. The topo map shows 9 horizontal adits and 4 vertical shafts on that hillside above those ruins, but doesn't name them. Looks like there could be some significant tunnels judging from the tailings piles outside the adits. It also looks like there are old roads leading to most of the adits. I'd be interested to know what you find if you go out there again!
