I'm leaving in three weeks to go to Camp Muir on Mount Rainier and would like to know if anyone has been up there this summer?

Two, what should I expect?

Three, what difficulties has anyone encountered in the past?

I'm in great shape to do it so I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks Lilbitmo :D

Yeah, though you seem to be going late season.
It's hot now and things are really opening up.

Lots of sun, heat and slushy snow.
The glaciers are moving and rocks falling.

Don't trust the fixed lines as the anchors are questionable.

You'll be fine. Check out this updated page.
The best respective forum for updates is here.

Drink lots of water and wear plenty of sunscreen.
The wind blew pretty good on top of Cathedral Ridge, goggles came in handy but I think it's all good now ..

See my 'overdue TR'
Have a great time!
