What with the recent light snowfall and all. I haven’t been up in a long time. Someone send a telegram, I’m dying over here.

Admired from a distance only. I was out for a ride on WIll Rogers Backbone this PM, and sunset on Baldy showed snow down to about 8500' on the southwest aspect. All the other high peaks up there have some (from Baden-Powell east).

I went up this morning. Ski Hut Trail is a bit snowy and icy just below Jabba (the hut). The refrozen slippery stuff is pretty much continuous across the bowl and upward. Crampons or spikes are highly recommended past the Ski Hut.

Went up today with my homie Gabe. Dostie’s Dare was in decent shape, with the others mostly melted out. Left side was in solid shape, the lower angle wide open area. Very nice day. I wanna go back.
