Banning Canyon in San Bernardino Mtns--anyone ever hike it?

Anyone ever checked out Banning Canyon, east of Yucaipa, north of the 10 FWY in the San Berns?
What's the parking/access situation like?

Did you ever get info about this? According to the FS website there is a trailhead in Banning Canyon and the road is open, but there might be "access issues" whatever that means. You're supposed to call the Mill Creek office for details. Never been there myself.

Thanks for the number. No, I didn't, but I'll check with them.
Talked another hiker that parked there and walked in without problems. Lots of questioanble signage tho.
