Today, the air quality went from "hazardous to unhealthy". We decided to do a short hike since we had plans for a big hike the next day.

Packed very light today, only 10 pounds. I am definitely not hiking Mt. Whitney today. I am still waiting for someone to go with me.

I wanted to have fun! After all, I was on vacation but my hiking buddies did not want to jump in.

I've always liked the infinity pool look of Lone Pine Lake. Dayhiked a couple times there because whenever I did Whitney it was dark.
