Mt. Markham

Cecelia and I went up to Mt. Markham after last week's snow storm. I couldn't remember if the landslide at the Mueller Tunnel entrance was there a few weeks prior. The slide blocks most of the road at the east entrance, except for a couple feet on the left side. Also, the other end of the tunnel was flooded, and water was flowing down the gully next to the west entrance.

We had snow on the trail between Markham Saddle and the summit. Temps were in the high 30s. Clouds decorated the sky and made all the views more interesting than usual.

Yeah. Less verbiage, more pictures of the damage to the tunnel entrances.

This is the slide at the east entrance. I guess it was there last month, but I forgot about it.

I am hiking through the tunnel this weekend. I will check to see if there are any changes or a new rock slide lol
