Sean and I woke up early and had an awesome breakfast. We had planned to do alot of sight seeing. We drove to Red Rocks Park.
We hiked around the Trading Post Trail to admire the beautiful Red Rocks.
Quite a bit of snow on parts of the trail.
We were surrounded by beautiful views.
We then drove to Lookout Mtn.
We visited the burial site of Buffalo Bill & his wife.
We also visited the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The day did not end here. More to follow.

After Red Rocks and Lookout, we drove higher into the Rockies to a mountain town called Georgetown. They have an old narrow gauge railroad attraction which took us through the snow-covered wilderness to an old mine site and station house.
Parking at the train station.
Old train engine that took us up the mountain.

Leaving the station and crossing the bridge.

After the train ride we drove around town a bit to check out old buildings.
Then we walked on the frozen Lake George.
