Cool quiz! Keep 'em coming. Kicking myself for only getting six right. I confused Bear Creek for Bear Canyon (or vice versa) thinking of the shorter drainage over by Switzers instead, and completely flubbed on Mt. Wilson's telescopes.

The Mt. Wilson telescope, Joe Elliott, and Eaton Canyon tripped me up.

Good stuff Cucamonga Man.

9 of 10 for me, too (although I must confess, I lucked out with wild guesses on several)...I too missed the telescope one...and I peek at the 150-foot Solar Tower Cam Website frequently...

Keep 'em coming!

Joe Elliott was a tree, named after the man. But it wasn't an oak tree. It was a sugar pine. I threw in the oak tree choice to make it a little bit harder.

Only 6 out of 10. Some tricky stuff in there. Wilson telescope names? Not sure that should count against me.

Very well. I'll count that one against myself. And since I also had to look up Joe Elliott, that puts my baseline at 80%.

That was cool. I only got 6 correct, meaning that I need to expand my knowledge of the local mountains. Basically I'm too lazy to drive to the western parts of the range.
