I bagged Sentinel Peak on Saturday. Sean bagged this peak last month but it has been over a year for me since I have been there. I remember the road being very wide but now it's ridiculously overgrown in some parts. However, you can still follow the faint trail up to the peak.

There's a mini waterfall off the Silver Fish Road.

Pretty part of the road.

There are about 3 washouts before you arrive at this part as the road curves to your right.

Instead of following the road we took a shortcut up the ridge that reconnects with the road.

The right side of the road continues up to Silver Mtn.

We crossed the road and continued up to the ridge to the saddle.

After a short break we continued to climb with some light bushwhacking.

This led us to a beautiful lush green area just before the final ascent to the peak.

Finally we bagged Sentinel Peak which gave us lovely views of the surrounding mountains.

Sean mentioned to me that there was not a register, so I placed a new one there in a canister.

Instead of descending the road we continued down the steep ridge.

Saw some lovely mushrooms and poppies along the way.

Pretty flowers.

Overall, it was a fun peak to bag. However, there are lots of ticks in the area. I found one latched onto my side when I got home.

Total mileage was about 6 with 1400' elevation gain.
