I've been a member for a while, didn't have much to report on after I moved out to Texas. The good news is I'm back in Cali and already have a few of my old fav's notched back on my belt.
Decided to head back to Sturtevant falls, Spruce grove, and Camp Sturtevant.
We Took the lower falls trail up to Spruce & Camp Sturtevant, and the upper falls on the way back.
There is / was enough water flowing down the creek at Spruce grove to filter, though it's not like I remembered it 4 years ago. It's down to a trickle now. Didn't get a pic of the water at Spruce grove but I snapped this photo less than a mile from Spruce grove.
I also recently started a hiking blog over at wordpress, with some more details and pics of this hike and the hikes the wife and I have done since our return to Cali.
