I've just posted what I call a "Trail Report" on the new Windboiler stove from MSR.
Basically, I take the stove out and see how it does in real world conditions. This past weekend, I went out to Mt. Williamson (8248'/2514m) in the San Gabriel Mountains. Accompanying me was ace mountain guide, Joycie, without whom this difficult ascent would no doubt have been impossible.
I covered things like how controllable the burner is, how it did in wind, and the like.
There's also a short section on staking down the burner if you need greater stability.
