Question on hiking up Mt. Baldy and avoiding the snow

My friends and are hoping to hike up to the top of Mt. Baldy in a couple weeks (mid-April), but we are hoping to avoid hiking in snow, as we don't have any crampons/ice picks. Which trails would you guys recommend that we take that have little or no snow during this time?

If it is as dry as it has been, the Ski Hut trail is your best bet.
