$60.08 And most of it was for buying freeze-dried food! I bought a few smaller pieces of gear, but mostly it was food. My wife and I slept in the tent for about a month all told. Great year for backpacking!
The only big piece of gear I purchased was the $400 Big Agnes King Solomon two-person goose down bag, but I got that for below $300 by applying last year's dividend and the 20% one-time discount that came with the dividend, so it didn't count toward this year's $$. I would've frozen to death last Memorial Day in Kelly Camp if it hadn't been for that bag.
I wonder if there's another big gear item I want to upgrade to with this year's deal. Hmm. Decisions, decisions...

$12.80. And almost all of that was for bicycle tires I bought there last year. There's not a lot to buy at REI these days unless I turn into a yuppie that just wants to look 'outdoorsey' (not much chance when you're +50 yo). I've also got a $100 gift certificate that I could use it with to get a new pair of hiking boots for no-snow hiking conditions really cheap. Or maybe some high-tech shoelaces?

Been waiting for this...
$1.05.
Actually, more than I thought it would be.

I only got $108 this year. I think my wife is happy because it is so low…here is hoping she doesn't put together the A16 purchases (up this year) with the REI dividend.

$89.98 for my refund is WAY more than I would have guessed. I made lots of purchases but most of the stuff was returned.

$427.74. REI Visa card, and a dog getting cancer treatment.
BOOM.
(Although I will definitely just cash it out instead of buying gear...)

My $40 this year is a far cry from the $140 last year. Guess I'm growing up, understanding my needs more, and amazoning most of it.

$21.26
I have no idea what we bought at REI last year, but they're giving us some of our money back.

I got some new trail runners on Friday with my dividend, with enough left over to cover a good chunk of the new tent I'm thinking about...

That's gonna be hard to beat! What'd you buy? A Cliff Bar?Girl Hiker wrote: whoooohoooo!!! I got a whopping $6.00 from REI. I've received more in recent years and obviously did not purchase a lot last year.
Did anyone else receive less than me?
